BONFLOR® FORTE capsules contain 10 billion CFU/capsule with species of Bifidobacterium animalis lactis and Lactobacillus rhamnosus, intensively studied strains naturally present in the gastrointestinal tract. Lactobacillus rhamnosus strains are most prevalent in the small intestine, while Bifidobacterium animalis lactis strains colonize a large part of the large intestine (colon). These strains are well tolerated by the body, are safe to administer, are resistant to the action of gastric acid and bile juice, having an increased capacity to adhere to the intestinal mucosa and to secrete substances beneficial to the human body.

Bifidobacterium animalis ssp. lactis

These strains of probiotics have been shown to be effective in the treatment of infectious diarrhea , in the prevention of diarrhea associated with the consumption of antibiotics and in the modulation of the immune response. Bifidobacterium animalis ssp lactis significantly reduces bloating, belching - abdominal fullness and occasional constipation in adults, children/adolescents and the elderly. Moreover, Bifidobacterium sp. ensures the integrity of the intestinal mucosa, thus preventing the absorption of toxins involved in triggering allergies and skin rashes.

Lactobacillus rhamnosus

It has been studied in numerous clinical studies, demonstrating its effectiveness in gastrointestinal infections and diarrhea, diarrhea associated with antibiotics and Clostridium difficile, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, benefiting also in the natural defense segment for respiratory tract infections, allergies , atopic dermatitis.

Fructooligosaccharides (FOS)

It represents the nutritious substrate of lactic strains. Probiotics are often administered together with prebiotics (FOS) due to the fact that the latter provide nutrients that can be metabolized and used as a food source by lactobacilli, but not by pathogenic agents, thus prebiotics stimulate the growth of lactobacilli at the expense of agents pathogens.

Children over 12 years of age and adults: 1 capsule per day

In the case of children who cannot swallow the capsule, it can be opened and the contents can be mixed with a sufficient amount of liquid or with food.

In order not to destroy the activity of the lactic strains, you must not administer BONFLOR FORTE capsules with alcohol or hot drinks.

During antibiotic treatment, it is recommended to take BONFLOR FORTE capsules at a distance of at least 3 hours from the antibiotic. The administration of BONFLOR FORTE capsules is continued for another 7 days after the cessation of the administration of the antibiotic.
