FLEXIMOBIL® HOT has a complex and complete composition that contains both principles that act on the symptoms (quickly fight pain and improve mobility), but also on the triggering causes (for example, oxidative stress).
The emulsified gel base has an emollient and protective effect on the skin .
The effect is installed immediately after application .
It does not produce unwanted topical effects (stinging, irritation, skin redness, edema) compared to other capsaicin-based products.
it intensifies microcirculation in the skin and produces a pleasant warming sensation;
soothes pain and muscle stiffness;
relaxes tense and contracted muscles;
supports muscle recovery after physical exercises or intense physical effort;
relieves acute pain from rheumatic diseases.
muscle pain and stiffness, including pain from lumbago, torticollis or muscle aches from colds and flu
muscle fever after sports activities or demanding physical effort
acute rheumatic pains (arthritis of the hands, feet and knees, ankylosing spondylitis, etc.)
Gaultheria procumbens oil, camphor, devil's claw extract (Harpagophytum procumbens), arnica extract (Arnica montana), allantoin, dexpanthenol, vanillyl butyl ether, carbomer, triethanolamine, liquid paraffin, cetylstearyl alcohol, macrogol cetostearyl ether 20, macrogol-6 stearate / glycol stearate/ macrogol-32 stearate, ethanol, purified water.
More details about the ingredients
Gaultheria procumbens oil (rich in methyl salicylate) causes dilation of the capillaries in the skin, thus increasing blood flow and local temperature.
Vanillyl butyl ether provides a pleasant and quick warming sensation, acting on the type 1 vanilloid receptors in the skin, which, through a sequence of cellular processes, triggers the warming sensation. Vanillyl butyl ether (VBE) is a compound with a similar structure to capsaicin, having the advantage compared to it of NOT producing the unpleasant sensations of burning, irritation and edema complained by patients with sensitive skin. In addition, the feeling of heating sets in much faster (immediately after application).
Immediately after application, camphor initially produces a "false" cooling effect by activating some "cold-sensitive" receptors (these receptors do not actually produce a decrease in tissue temperature, but only the feeling of cold). Later, the camphor acts rubefiant, by stimulating the microcirculation at the skin level, acting revulsive and analgesic, emphasizing the action of methyl salicylate and vanillyl butyl ether.
The harpagosides from the devil's claw extract act through a mechanism similar to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs by inhibiting COX-2, but also through other additional mechanisms that prevent the proliferation of the oxidative process and block cartilage degradation. Harpagosides, through the complex anti-inflammatory mechanism, calm the pain, but also act as chondroprotectors. The action of the standardized extract of Harpagophytum procumbens proved to be similar to that of the latest generation anti-inflammatories from the class of coxibs, but without their adverse effects.
The arnica extract contains a complex of active principles that, through its strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant action, act synergistically with the devil's claw harpagosides, preventing the destruction of cartilage and effectively soothing joint pain. Clinical studies demonstrate the beneficial effect in osteoarthritis, by increasing the mobility of the joints, especially in the morning when waking up, when the patient has difficulty getting out of bed due to stiffness and pain. Moreover, arnica extract also acts on soft tissues, reducing edema and ecchymoses (bruises) from trauma.
Allantoin acts as an emollient, prevents skin irritation and gives a pleasant, velvety feeling.
Dexpanthenol has moisturizing and emollient action, as well as strengthening the skin's barrier function by stimulating its regeneration.
Adults and children over 12 years: 2-3 daily applications on the painful area.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: FLEXIMOBIL® HOT, emulsified gel is not recommended to be used during pregnancy or breast-feeding, as there are insufficient data regarding the safety of use.
