Indications
It is indicated in the treatment of the following conditions: - fungal skin infections (caused by dermatophytes such as Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes or Epidermophyton floccosum, Microsporum canis): tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris, tinea corporis; - pityriasis (ringworm) versicolor caused by Malassezia furfur form Pityrosporum ovale; - cutaneous candidiasis.
Composition
1 gram of cream contains terbinafine hydrochloride 10 mg. It also contains propylene glycol, cetostearyl alcohol, white petrolatum, cetostearyl macrogol ether, trolamine, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, n-propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, purified water.
Administration method
Apply 1-2 cm of the cream to the affected area, which will be cleaned and dried beforehand. Duration of treatment and frequency of administrations (unless the doctor recommends otherwise): - tinea pedis: 1 administration per day for one week; - tinea cruris and tinea corporis: 1 administration per day for 1 week; - cutaneous candidiasis: 1-2 administrations per day for 1-2 weeks; - pityriasis versicolor: 1-2 administrations per day for 2 weeks.
