Over 45 years of experience with indomethacin in the treatment of muscle and joint pain of a traumatic or rheumatic nature.
Benefits
Read the package leaflet before use. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store at temperatures below 25°C, in the original packaging. Do not use after the expiration date written on the package.
Advantages
It is one of the few medicinal substances that, in addition to the strong anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect, also has a uricosuric effect, which is why it is recommended in gout attacks, but also in rheumatoid arthritis and degenerative processes of the arthrotic type that do not respond to the anti-inflammatory drugs of first choice. The pharmaceutical form of the cream allows topical administration accompanied by massage, especially for subacute or chronic conditions, with a much lower risk of triggering adverse effects than systemic administration.
Indications
It is indicated in the treatment of inflammatory and painful articular and periarticular conditions of a rheumatic nature (rheumatoid polyarthritis, degenerative processes of the arthrotic type), traumatic (sprains, contusions, bursitis, tendinitis, muscle strains) or circulatory (venous thrombosis) and in the treatment of gout.
Composition
1 gram of cream contains 40 mg of indomethacin. It also contains emulsifier cetylstearyl alcohol type A (Lanette N), white vaseline, polysorbate 80, glycerol, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, n-propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, purified water.
Administration method
Apply 0.5-1 g cream to the painful area 3-4 times a day (preferably after a warm bath) and massage lightly. The duration of the treatment depends on the doctor's indications and the therapeutic effect obtained.
