LAXIT FIBRE RASPBERRY flavor contains a combination of chicory inulin, oligosaccharides and psyllium seeds that help maintain normal intestinal transit, improve stool consistency and maintain normal cholesterol levels.
vegetable fibers
sugar-free
Contains Psyllium – a source of vegetable fiber that contributes to:
facilitating intestinal transit
maintaining normal cholesterol levels
Psyllium is processed from the seeds of the Plantago ovata plant, a herbaceous plant native to the Indian subcontinent and Mediterranean regions. The seeds contain a soluble fiber-rich outer covering known as the husk . This is one of the most valuable parts of the plant from a medicinal point of view.
The soluble fiber in psyllium husk has the ability to absorb water, forming a viscous gel that helps improve intestinal transit, normalize stool consistency and frequency, and regulate blood cholesterol levels.
Chicory inulin is a soluble fiber that has multiple benefits. The most important characteristic of inulin is its ability to support the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut, especially bifidobacteria, thus improving the balance of the intestinal microbiota.
Oligosaccharides are carbohydrates made up of a small number of monosaccharide units (usually between 2 and 10). They are found naturally in many foods – vegetables, fruits, cereals. After ingestion, they reach the colon, where they are fermented by the intestinal microbiota (especially bifidobacteria), producing short-chain fatty acids (SCFA), important for colon health and intestinal pH regulation.
Ingredients: Psyllium seed powder ( Plantago ovata ), bulking agent (sorbitol), chicory inulin ( Cichorium intybus ), acidifier (citric acid), galactooligosaccharides, starch, raspberry flavor, sweetener (sucralose).
Active ingredients:
Psyllium seed powder ( Plantago ovata ) - 2,300 g
Galactooligosaccharides - 0.100 g
Inulin from chicory ( Cichorium intybus L. ) - 0.250 g
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 sachet 1–3 times/day
Children 6–12 years: 1 sachet 1–2 times/day
The contents of one sachet are added to a glass full of water, yogurt, smoothie or over other semi-solid foods.
Recommendations:
Consume with enough water for optimal effects (at least 1.5–2 liters of fluids/day).
Fiber taken without enough liquid can negatively affect the digestive tract.
Psyllium may reduce the effectiveness of some medications if taken at the same time — take the product at least 2 hours away from medication treatments.
Do not consume the powder as is (without liquids) to avoid the risk of choking.
Concomitant use with oral anticoagulants may increase their effect.
Although fiber consumption is well tolerated by most people, pregnant women should consult their doctor before taking it.
Excessive consumption can cause laxative effects.
It is not recommended for people with hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
