REGEN-SIL®, gel is administered as soon as possible after the appearance of scarring of the injured tissue (usually 2-3 weeks after injury or surgery).
The duration of treatment can vary between 8 weeks (for new scars) and 3-6 months (for old scars).
In the case of stretch marks from pregnancy, it is recommended to start the treatment with REGEN-SIL® gel from the second trimester of pregnancy and continue for another 2-3 months after birth.
For the other types of stretch marks, REGEN-SIL® administration is indicated throughout the period when the skin is tense and continues for another 2-3 months after the process stops.
Apply a thin layer of REGEN-SIL® gel on the scarred area, gently massage and let it dry.
Thus a protective, flexible film is formed, which allows the skin to breathe, but is impermeable to water.
If too much gel has been applied, it will take longer to dry and there is a risk that the clothes will get stained. Remove the excess gel and wait for it to dry. A transparent, almost invisible film is formed. It can be removed by washing with soap and water.
If the respective area is washed, the administration is repeated, so that the scar is permanently in contact with REGEN-SIL® gel for the treatment of scars.
