More details about the ingredients
Bacteria, viruses and toxins attack the digestive mucosa. The aggression results in inflammation of the mucosa and the secretion of water and electrolytes in the intestinal lumen. The result is diarrhea and dehydration.
Diosmectite forms a protective barrier at the level of the digestive mucosa, which absorbs and captures bacteria, viruses and toxins, favoring the elimination of agents that cause diarrhea.
40% of cases of severe diarrhea in children under 2 years old are caused by Rotavirus (WHO).
527,000 deaths are annually determined by Rotavirus, with a peak incidence in children under 2 years of age (WHO).
According to clinical studies (Khediri F et al. 2011. Gastroenterol Res Pract. 2011; 2011: 78319), treatment with diosmectite and rehydration salts decreased by 75%, in 120 hours, the number of stools in patients diagnosed with non-infectious diarrhea , and by 95%, in the case of patients diagnosed with infectious diarrhea.
