Short description
An efficient treatment in relieving inflammation and pruritus that occur in psoriasis, lichen planus and other non-infectious cortico-sensitives skin diseases.
Indications
- limited plaque psoriasis resistant to other treatments, especially palm-plantar localized forms;
- eczema resistant to other treatments;
- lichen planus;
- discoid lupus erythematosus and other non-infectious cortico-sensitives skin diseases, unresponsive to weaker corticosteroids.

Advantages
The excessive dryness is a frequent and characteristic symptom of psoriasis, especially for chronic form. Thus, the ointment form of Clobetasol MK allows the hydration of the affected areas, acting as an emollient.
Composition
1 gram of ointment contains clobetasol propionate 0.5 mg.

Dosage and administration
The recommended dose is 1-2 cm of ointment applied once or twice daily, depending on the severity of the lesion, in a thin layer on the affected area, and gently rubbing. In the case of psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, progressive discontinuation of treatment is required. The treatment is interrupted when the symptoms are improved. If the appearance of the affected area does not improve, treatment should be discontinued after a week or less.
