DIGEX® FORTE SUPER DIGESTIV prevents indigestion caused by heavy meals or unhealthy combinations that associate protein foods with carbohydrates or lipids (pasta with ham and cream, lasagna, prosciutto with melon, cereal with acidic fruit juices).
The enzymatic blend acts upon a great variety of food nutrients, increasing their digestion, as follows:
• Amylase is the most important enzyme that breaks down the chemical bonds of carbohydrates to dextrins and oligosaccharides.
• Protease ensures the digestion of animal and vegetable proteins to amino acids which are easily absorbed
• Lipase ensures the digestion of animal and vegetable fats and improves the digestive activity of other enzymes.
• Glucoamylase continues the action of amylase, breaking the dextrins into simple molecules of glucose that can be absorbed by the body and used in metabolic processes.
