Fluocinolon D Fiterman, cream
Short description
Unique combination of a high-potency corticosteroid and dexpanthenol, recommended in dry eczema (due to dexpanthenol), acute and chronic dermatitis, exfoliative, seborrheic dermatitis and other acute inflammatory lesions.
Indications
- extensive corticosensitive eczema and other acute and chronic dermatitis: atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, contact dermatitis;
- seborrheic dermatitis, anogenital pruritus;
- lichen simplex chronicus, stasis dermatitis;
- intertrigo, exfoliative dermatitis;
- psoriasis (especially chronic, stabilized cases);
- acute inflammatory lesions.

Advantages
Dexpanthenol delays the skin atrophy (caused by the excessive use of corticosteroids) due to its remarkable epithelialization properties. Moreover, dexpanthenol has an anti-inflammatory effect, completing the anti-inflammatory properties of fluocinolone and reducing the frequency of daily applications.
Composition
1 gram of cream contains fluocinolone acetonide 0.25 mg and dexpanthenol 50 mg.
Also contains cetostearyl alcohol (type A) emulsifying, liquid paraffin, octyldodecanol, glycerol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), purified water, ethanol 96%.

Dosage and administration
The cream is applied on the affected dermal area in a thin layer for 2-3 times per day at the beginning of the treatment, followed by 2-3 applications per week. The duration of the treatment is established by the physician depending on the therapeutical effect. The cream should not be applied on extensive areas or onto the face in order to avoid the dermal atrophy.
