Short description
Unique combination of a corticosteroid and a broad-spectrum antibiotic indicated in the treatment of eczema, acute and chronic infected dermatitis, exfoliative, seborrheic dermatitis and other acute inflammatory lesions.
Indications
- extensive corticosensitive eczema and other acute and chronic dermatitis or which are at risk of infection with gentamicin sensitive microorganisms: atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, contact dermatitis;
- seborrheic dermatitis, anogenital pruritus;
- lichen simplex chronicus, stasis dermatitis;
- intertrigo, exfoliative dermatitis;
- psoriasis (especially chronic, stabilized cases);
- acute inflammatory lesions;
- paronychia.

Advantages
Fluocinolone acetonide (with anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic and anti-allergic effects) regulates the keratinization process.
Gentamicin, a broad-spectrum antibiotic, is efficient against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria mostly found in dermal infections.

Composition
1 gram of cream contains fluocinolone acetonide 0.25 mg and gentamicin 1 mg (as gentamicin sulfate).
Also contains cetostearyl alcohol (type A) emulsifying, liquid paraffin, octyldodecanol, glycerol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), ethanol 96%, purified water.

Dosage and administration
The cream is applied on the affected dermal area in a thin layer for 2-3 times per day at the beginning of the treatment, followed by 2-3 applications per week. The duration of the treatment is established depending on the therapeutical effect.
